Samsung has unveiled the latest range of Galaxy tablets, not one but 3 different tablets varying in size which include the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
As the name suggests, three of the tablets come with a 7-inch, 8-inch and a 10.1 inch screen giving the users an option to select which one to go for.
We will be posting the link to the specs of the individual tablets at the bottom but here’s a preview to see what the tabs of different sizes have to offer.
Starting with the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, it’s armed with a Quad-Core 1.2GHz processor and a 1.5GB RAM plus a 3-megapixel camera at the rear with a 1.3-megapixel one at front. For storage, it comes in either 8GB or the 16GB model with microSD slot. The 3G/WiFi models can extend their microSD to upto 32GB whereas the LTE model will be able to extend it to 64GB.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is just an inch bigger than the tab 4 7.0 and has a WXGA display with a 1280 x 800 pixels. It too is armed with the similar processor in the tab 7.0 i.e Quad Core 1.2GHz processor and a 1.5GB RAM. With 16GB of built in storage, the device also comes with a MicroSD card slot that will support up to 64GB. It comes with Android 4.4 Kit Kat pre-installed and features a 3-megapixel camera at the rear with a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera at the front. For battery, the device is powered with a large 4,450 mAh unit.
Last but not the least, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 inch pretty much has the same configuration but the only difference that it has with the other two is it has a larger 6,800 mAh battery and as the name suggests, comes with a whopping 10 inch screen.
Samsung has done great by unveiling a similar tablet but with different sizes. People have difference perceptions on choosing which tablet size to go for and for them, Samsung has made it very easy.
No information regarding the price has been announced yet but the tablets will come in Black and White and will be released worldwide in the second quarter of 2014.
