Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, two major successes of Google and LG in the Nexus lineup. While the first weren’t actually a success in terms of sales but the pricing and the specification were great when you think about it. Nexus 5X was the proud successor of the Nexus 5 with some good promises to keep and a minor up in the price tag until now. As, today it got a price cut to match its predecessors.
The Nexus 5 was a good upgrade over Nexus 4 with the well praised response from many. Although they both lacked in few places. Especially when you think about the camera and the battery backup. But, both set a standard in the industry for what kind of pricing smartphones with high-end devices should have. We kept on expecting the same kind of pricing from Google always and others. That changed when the Nexus 6 was launched with its hefty price tag of $649. (Note: It is now being sold at $249 if you roam around amazon).
The Nexus 5X had a Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB RAM, fingerprint scanner, 12MP Camera with 5MP front, 5.2 Inch Full HD Display and a 2700mAh battery. This with a price tag of $379 (16GB) and $429 (32GB) was a really good offer. But Google made it great with today’s revised pricing. As of today, you can get both the version at a $30 lesser price making it per with its predecessor’s early stage pricing.
The specs and the great camera (the same as Nexus 6P) make it an attractive offer to resist. Not that, there aren’t any better option, for example, One Plus two and others but if you want to get a pure android experience and great camera this is the device you should get. You can order the Nexus 5X with the new pricing right away from Google store while Best Buy or Amazon to soon follow the pricing. So what are you waiting for?
