ASUS has just added a new smartwatch to their product portfolio, the all new ZenWatch 3. The new device comes with round display for the first time and is equipped with the new Snapdragon 2100 SOC. It’s good to see a new design as they were quite sticking with the square design last year.
The ZenWatch 3 has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 400×400 which is quite similar to Huawei’s Watch. What remains the same is the 4GB of storage space and 512MB of RAM which quite common in all the other watches.
As mentioned earlier, the ZenWatch 3 is the first device to be using the new Snapdragon 2100 chip and has a quad-core A7 chip built in it. Let’s hope the watch can make good use of the 340mAh battery. According to ASUS, the device will be able to run for 1-2 days. This is in fact great as most of the wearable don’t last for more than a day! The device has a 45mm case and measures 10.75mm in thickness.
The ZenWatch 3 will be available soon for $225! Not a bad price for a powerful wearable!
