Huawei Launches Y6II Prime in Bangladesh

Huawei just launched their brand new Y6 II Prime smartphone at an event hosted at the Westin Hotel. Chief guest and Huawei brand ambassador Shakib Al Hasan was present at the launch to talk about the new device and interact with the winners of Huawei’s Eid Ul Fitr “Selfie With Shakib” competition.

The Huawei Y6 II Prime is a mid range device whose main highlight is the 1.2GHz Hisilicon Kirin 620 chipset which utilizes LTE Cat 4 technology to achieve maximum download speeds of 150mbps over 4G. As per current speculation, 4G in Bangladesh will roll out soon with maximum speeds of 100mbps thus making the Y6 II Prime well equipped to handle the future of mobile communication. Other stand out features are the large 3,000mAh battery and 3GB RAM. Huawei claims the Y6 II Prime is one of the most affordable smartphones in Bangladesh that offers 3GB of RAM.

The screen is 5.5 inch with 1280 x 720p resolution. The front camera is 8MP and the rear camera is 13MP. There are 32GB of built in storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.

Device Sales Director of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd., Mr. Ziauddin Chowdhury, said, “Our valued customers are the key to our continued progress. We also believe this offer is going to further strengthen the connection that we have with our customers. Nevertheless, the new Y6II Prime is one of our latest attempts at addressing the need of smartphone users for a midrange handset that offers excellent features and performance.”
