Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Spotted in Samsung Apps Website

It’s somewhat becoming a norm for Samsung to release a mini version of their most popular flagship devices. SIII had one and now it’s time for S4. If the S4 is too big for you (a problem faced by many), no worries, the S4 mini version is coming! Although we did not see any mini version of the Galaxy SII, instead Samsung had only upgraded the SII to SII Plus.

Right now there are a lot of rumours regarding Samsung releasing 3 variants for their Galaxy S4 smartphone, the SIV Mega, Active and Mini. Just 5 days back MobileTechReview revealed a short hands-on video of the S4 Active but still no leaks on the SIV Mega yet. Samsung recently reported a 10-million sales mark for their much acclaimed S4 unit and with 3 variants they do want to see the sale numbers going much higher.

There were picture leaks of the Galaxy S4 Mini which was enough for everyone to be convinced that such version of the S4 will be coming. As these are rumours, it’s not always 100% correct. Good thing, Samsung Apps website has enlisted the Galaxy S4 Mini in the list of devices which justs gives us more concrete information regarding its possible existence.

The Galaxy S4 Mini might be armed by a Dual Core Exynos 5210 processor clocked at 1.6Ghz and a 1GB of RAM as revealed by a Korean Investment and Securities company. It would have a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, better than the SIII mini, and will run on Android 4.0 operating system which is a bad buzz. As this is still not confirmed, we hope the S4 Mini version would come with the 4.2.2 version. Around the back, the S4 Mini would have a 8MP camera and there’s no information regarding the secondary camera.

Since the Samsung Apps website has officially given away the information on the existence of the S4 mini, we are sure that Samsung would be announcing it very soon.
